Moonlight -Ryan Griggs
By the moonlight I walk,
Breathing the air of life,
Bringing the grace,
Breaking worldly strife.
Silent footprints in the sand,
Glimmering reminders of His hand,
Shining in the silence of nocturnal peace,
Giving hope for mending life’s fleece.
Silvery tides wash away the reminders,
Slowly slipping away into the ocean,
Stealing the grains of sand,
Shimmering love in complete motion.

Another poem I wrote while in Florida wandering the beaches at night, watching the silence of the night work its magic on the beach.

There are some strange patterns in there, like the beginning letter of each word of each line. You write kind of like my ex-boyfriend, so it makes me a little sad to read it at all, but it's still beautiful. The imagery is wonderful.
